Background
As a child, I found myself captivated by the realm of
experience design. It all began with a blog named Gahva I created in 2008, when I
was ten. This was my playground for self-created tech-themed comics, and it gave birth
to my first logo and website design. I also created an Adobe Flash game involved a stickman running. I played a lot
with blendr and created random objects.
This early exploration bloomed into a fascination for design and development.
Work
My first real experience came when I worked for a $20M funded, fast paced tech startup. I was a backend developer intern where I wore many hats.
I implemented, managed and shipped on two key products:
Azure DevOps
and
Zoho Projects
I was able to integrate the tasks using their APIs and connect them with other apps. I learned a lot about working with high pressure, product management, development in JavaScript, TypeScript and APIs.
At this insurance company, I worked as an automated test developer intern, which was a new
experience for me, something which isn't taught much at schoool. I got first hand experience in generating
test reports, implementing Unit tests, debugging pipelines. I also learned tools and frameworks like Kubernetes and
Selenium grids.
I worked as a Software Developer Intern at Citi and it was a wonderful experience. A lot of training
and resources were provided to me. I implemented a web based database system for internal service used by developers. I then added a SSO scheme layer over it
to allow approved users to access it. I worked with proxy servers, SSO, webservers and Apache technologies for the first time. We also presented our work to the
rest of the interns at the end of the summer. Below is a high level diagram I made to explain my work.
